Convenience Store Manager (33580)

This position manages a high-volume Convenience store and directs sales, casino, სიყვ, and gas operations. It supervises all employees necessary to achieve the financial, operational, and guest service expectations, plans and organizes administrative, operational, and revenue goals, and ensures compliance with tribal, federal, and state regulations to protect the safety of employees, customers, and the public.

• 10 years customer service, cash handling, and store experience, including at least 7 years of management experience
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have a valid state driver’s license
• Must have good mathematical skills
• Must have strong computer skills
• Skilled in providing leadership, supervising, training, and evaluating assigned staff
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence; effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Working knowledge of Point of Sale systems and convenience store software

• Motivate, encourage, and challenge all team members of Agua Caliente Fuel ensuring excellent customer service
• Improve staff effectiveness by hiring, counseling, and training team members; plan, delegate, monitor, and appraise tasks and results in a timely manner
Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure the store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well kept; maintain brand image standards
• Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed safely
• Provide customer service assistance, assist customers with selecting and/or purchase, and handle exchanges; resolve complaints promptly and professionally
• Monitor daily retail gasoline competitors and send price information to the corporate office as directed by management
• Complete daily paperwork and computer entries promptly as established by management
• Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to ইয় maximize sales and meet or exceed goals
• Implement monthly promotions; ensure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted on time
• Manage all inventory
• Communicate price change requests, markdowns and ups
• Report merchandise pricing problems to the Price Book Administrator
• Implement and enforce merchandising and vendor policies and procedures
• Enforce safety and security issues and report all unsafe conditions
• Conduct regular safety and security meetings with Director of Security
• Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or accidents following company procedures
• Monitor landscaping company, EVS, and assess along with Security Department
• Adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC system of internal controls, and SOPs
• Maintain excellent communication skills with other departments
