Maintenance Technician/Engineer – Full‑time (32787)

Applicant will serve as the primary maintenance technician for Agua Caliente Casinos’ indoor and outdoor casino and surrounding properties, performing routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and project work in collaboration with all departments and engineering personnel.

General maintenance of casino indoor and outdoor premises. Works with all departments on an as needed basis and cooperates with all engineering personnel.

• Maintain operating condition of casino buildings and equipment and complete simple repairs.
• Use knowledge of mechanical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing systems.
• Perform timely repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers and any other equipment requiring service.
• Read meters, gauges and other testing instruments accurately to detect and identify problems and the appropriate paths for repairs.
• Document all repairs and preventive maintenance reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform departmental technical projects, including electrical and mechanical equipment repair. Other duties as required.
• Landscape and sprinkler maintenance.
• Carpentry, plumbing, electrical and masonry repairs.
• Review Engineering Request Forms to decide problem and resolution.
• Aid in planning casino projects, remodeling, expansions and monitor outside contractor work.
• Follow safety guidelines and work closely with Safety Coordinator to adhere to OSHA safety guidelines.
• Operate common hand or power tools.
• Provide excellent guest service to guests and internal clients.
• Adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Minimum 2 years proven experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, standard appliances and devices.

Stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1½ mile, climbing stairs and sit at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke‑filled environment, “lighting‑subdued” environment for extended periods and extreme heat and cold weather. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry goods of at least 25 lbs on an intermittent basis and use office equipment including computer keyboard, telephone and general office equipment.
