Role Overview

Warehouse Specialist – responsible for handling internal and customer orders, maintaining inventory systems, and ensuring a safe and organized workspace.

Location

On‑Site in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA (relocating to Foothill Ranch in January 2026)

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares and distributes shop order materials for internal work centers.
  • Prepares and distributes customer orders for the shipping department.
  • Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside the service facility for repair.
  • Directs movement of shipments from the inspection department and receiving department to storage and work areas.
  • Compiles records of unfilled orders.
  • Posts weight and shipping charges.
  • Provides inventory reports to the purchasing and inventory control manager.
  • Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
  • Manages and maintains the inventory system under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
  • Assists with stock checks and other interdepartmental requests.
  • Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
  • Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
  • Operates forklift truck when necessary.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly workstation.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.
Critical Competencies
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years warehouse experience and experience in related field preferred.
  • Combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated working concepts of Lean manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred, though training will be provided.
  • Adapt to a fast‑paced workflow.
  • Safety oriented.
  • Cycle count experience.
  • Proficient using a computer.
  • Shipping & Receiving experience.
  • Works well with others, and with little supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Overtime as needed at month‑end and some weekends depending on volume of work.

  • Employee may occasionally lift 50 pounds (1/3 time) with assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Pay Range

$28‑30/hour. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
