We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, results-driven service professional to greet customers, schedule service, and ensure a professional service repair experience.

- As a Car Service Technician, perform maintenance and repair tasks on used vehicles.
- Execute work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed and provide time estimates for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Interact with customers, service manager, technicians, and other dealership personnel.
- Request necessary parts and document services performed.
- Entry-Level Service Technician or Experienced Service Technician with previous automotive dealership experience.
- Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems; demonstrable mechanical skills.
- Technical training or commensurate technical experience required.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Basic computer skills to utilize the timekeeping system.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, and to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Ability to follow technical manuals and apply common sense to carry out instructions.
