Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

As a Teacher at Apple Montessori Schools, you will be part of a team that empowers the next generation of leaders.

• Formalize lesson plans on a weekly basis for the upcoming instructional period.
• Relate instructional objectives to curriculum standards and demonstrate effective decision‑making concerning instructional goals.
• Determine students’ performance using both informal and formal assessments and observations.
• Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
• Use a variety of instructional materials, including contextual, supplemental, teacher‑constructed, and teaching bulletin boards, as well as audio‑visual aids, hands‑on activities, discovery‑based learning, and activity‑based learning.
• Maintain accurate and timely educational assessments and progress notes for all assigned students.
• Train and supervise a teacher assistant within the classroom.
• Meet with parents throughout the year to discuss the child’s progress.
• Attend Open House, Back to School Night, Teacher In‑Service days, and all weekly staff meetings and teacher curriculum meetings.

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Elementary Education preferred)
• Montessori Experience (preferred)
• NAMC (Preferred or willing to obtain within first year of employment)
• Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally.
• Experience with lesson planning and development.
• Ability to multitask and function in an ever‑changing environment.

Salary: $40,000 - $48,000 / year
