Tamarack Day Camp is seeking enthusiastic, skilled, and energetic Athletic Specialists to join our team for an unforgettable summer. This role is perfect for individuals who love sports, enjoy working with children, and want to be part of a supportive, high-energy camp community.

• Lead instruction and skill development in your assigned sport(s) for multiple age groups
• Create fun, structured, and safe daily lesson plans and games
• Promote teamwork, confidence, effort, and good sportsmanship
• Adapt instruction to meet the needs of beginner through advanced athletes
• Communicate clearly with counselors to help manage groups and transitions
• Ensure proper use, setup, and storage of athletic equipment
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional presence throughout the day
• Serve as a role model for campers and younger staff members

Full attendance for all 39 days of camp. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. June 29 – August 21. No weekends.

• Experience playing, coaching, or teaching sports (formal or informal)
• Enjoys working with children and creating a fun learning environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage groups and maintain safety at all times
• Must be reliable, responsible, and enthusiastic
