Position: Oil Burner Mechanic Program Instructor Role
Lead the Oil Burner Mechanic Program at Nunavut Arctic College located in Rankin. Engage students with immersive training experiences in classroom and workshop settings.

The Instructor will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all levels of the Oil Burner Mechanic apprenticeship, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and support for student learning. Additionally, you will contribute to the Housing Maintainer apprenticeship program, preparing students for their careers and Interprovincial certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and assess instructional materials and techniques

• Guide students in achieving their learning objectives

• Maintain a safe and effective training environment

• Support the Manager in curriculum development

• Prepare students for industry certification

Requirements:

• Experienced in the Oil Burner Mechanic field

• Background in instructional methodologies

• Effective communication and leadership abilities

• Knowledge of industry standards and practices

• Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and learning
