As a Quality Operator at Maverick Pipe in Rantoul, IL
, you will play a key role in supporting operational efficiency and product integrity by inspecting PVC bundles, reporting quality metrics, and assisting with production line operations. Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sun‑Wed or Wed‑Sat (alternate Wednesdays). Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sun‑Wed or Wed‑Sat (alternate Wednesdays).

$22.50 – $23.50/Hour

• Follow leadership direction to support production goals, ensuring efficient and quality‑focused operations.
• Inspect and log PVC bundles as they are produced – verify compliance with quality standards.
• Report first‑pass acceptance rates and identify quality deviations for corrective action.
• Conduct quality testing and line inspections, ensuring consistent and reliable output.
• Assist with product changeovers – support smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
• Operate production line equipment as needed—demonstrate flexibility and teamwork.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in PVC pipe production.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification may be required.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and quality checks.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime.
