Overview
We are seeking BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist to join a team of Radiation Oncologists, additional Hematologist/Oncologists, and Gynecologic/Oncologists at our Cancer Center in Rapid City, SD.
Schedule and Call- The work schedule is a 4-day work week if not on call (Monday–Friday); the week of call is a 5-day/week clinic schedule.
- Call is typically 1 in 5–6 weeks with low call volumes. After adding a 6th oncologist, call will be 1 in 6–7 weeks.
- First appointments are at 7:30 am or 8:00 am and last appointments are typically 4:00 pm or 4:30 pm.
- Patient census is an average of 14–18 patients per day.
Center provides inpatient and outpatient oncology services, supportive laboratory and imaging services, and services for related clinical research trials. The Institute believes in strong communication between cancer specialists, family physicians, referring specialists and supportive service providers to provide optimal cancer care. The Institute continually reviews and updates techniques and technologies to provide leading edge cancer therapies. Their long-standing relationship with nationally renowned research groups allows them to offer some of the latest emerging therapies.
