Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our team in delivering high-quality care to our diverse and underserved patient population. The ideal candidate will diagnose, educate, and initiate treatment in an outpatient clinic setting, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to promote health and prevent disease. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a health center committed to comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and initiate treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Provide consultations to other clinic providers as needed.
  • Supervise and support advanced practice professionals.
  • Participate in after-hours call coverage to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with internal and community providers to deliver integrated primary care services.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Eligible/Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field.
  • Current unrestricted South Dakota medical license and DEA license.
  • Experience serving low-income, ethnic minority, and underserved populations preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
