Electrical Engineer – Energy and Power (Gainesville, FL / Southeast USA)

Base pay range: $116,400 – $203,600 per year.

We offer and deliver a true “end to end” life‑cycle service from exploration, development, operation, and repowering/retirement. Demonstrated abilities include a basic understanding of electrical engineering sciences. Prior experience in consulting and design will be highly regarded.

• Provide feasibility studies, construction documents and construction oversight for energy projects.
• Communicate complex technical solutions to clients and project teams.
• Develop design calculations, construction drawings and specifications.

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years of design/consulting experience.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minor supervision once given guidance by lead engineer.

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain PE within 1 year.
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Navis Works.
• Power system modeling experience using SKM Power Tools, ETAP or similar.
• Experience with power distribution systems, microgrids, renewable energy projects, energy storage systems, SCADA, and campus utility planning.
