As a Radiation Therapist, you will administer radiation treatments to cancer patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. You will be responsible for operating radiation therapy equipment, monitoring patient reactions to treatment, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during treatments.

• Review and interpret prescriptions and treatment plans from radiation oncologists.
• Position patients correctly for treatment and accurately target radiation beams.
• Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
• Monitor patients during treatments and report any adverse reactions to the radiation oncologist.
• Educate patients on the treatment process and potential side effects.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to cancer patients.

• Associate's degree in radiation therapy or related field.
• Certification in radiation therapy from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Radiation Therapist.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in positioning patients for treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
