Our medical facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with breathing disorders, performing diagnostic tests, administering treatments and medications, and providing patient education on respiratory care.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments to determine respiratory disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions
- Administer medications and treatments such as oxygen therapy and nebulizers
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients on life support
- Educate patients on proper use of respiratory equipment and techniques
- Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Keep detailed patient records and document treatment progress
- Stay updated on latest advancements in respiratory therapy techniques
- Bachelor s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
