Registered Behavior Technician PT/PRN in RC

Join Life Scape as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Rapid City. We are looking for part‑time or unscheduled part‑time staff to provide one‑on‑one behavior interventions in a clinical setting.

• Pay: $19.65 per hour + experience

We will work with you by providing on‑the‑job training and paying for the RBT certification testing.

• Establish and maintain rapport with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Implement behavior interventions designed by the BCBA in clinic or home settings; follow treatment plan goals and interventions using sound judgement and seek appropriate consultation.
• Collaborate with family and treatment team members to deliver effective treatment without distraction to other individuals; communicate progress with family and team.
• Maintain expertise in current research/techniques affecting persons supported and stay current on legal and ethical issues; promote behavior analytic theory and principles.
• Assist the BCBA with training family, caregivers, and others regarding reinforcement, interventions, and any other topics related to the treatment plan and goals.

• High school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is preferred.
• Two years of completed coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or related fields and/or prior experience working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, and challenging behaviors is preferred.
