Janitorial Area Supervisor (Full-Time)

$19/hour + Paid Travel Time

Office Pride of Rapid City is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Area Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations and support our growing team. This is a full-time leadership position for someone who takes pride in quality, accountability, and mentoring others.

As a Janitorial Area Supervisor, you will manage and perform cleaning duties, train new employees, and ensure all assigned facilities consistently meet Office Pride quality and safety standards
. You will act as a mentor and role model, helping team members uphold the values of our company.

Position Details & Benefits

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee nightly cleaning operations at assigned facilities
  • Train, support, and mentor new employees
  • Ensure proper alarm/disarm procedures and accurate reporting of any dropped alarms
  • Train employees on timekeeping systems and report issues to the office
  • Provide re‑training and constructive feedback when needed
  • Submit daily reports to the office by 1:00 PM for the previous shift
  • Cross‑train staff to ensure building coverage when needed
  • Monitor equipment and supplies; report shortages or issues
  • Ensure compliance with Office Pride policies, procedures, and dress code
  • Enforce safety and security standards at all times
  • Report safety concerns immediately
  • Assist with customer concern follow‑up in coordination with the office
  • Complete monthly building inspections and provide feedback
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Dependable, detail‑oriented, and quality‑focused
  • Able to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and responsibility
  • Physically able to:
  • Lift up to 35 lbs
  • Stand and move throughout entire shift
  • Walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, kneel, crouch, push, and pull
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
