This position is for a travel Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room (OR) in Rapid City, South Dakota, for a 13-week assignment. The RN will assist in orthopedic, spine, ENT, GYN, plastics, and general surgeries while operating surgical equipment including the MAKO robotic system. Required qualifications include 3-4 years of recent OR circulating experience, current RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, and strong orthopedic surgical skills.

Key Responsibilities
• Circulate and assist in orthopedic procedures, including total joints and arthroscopy.
• Support spine, foot and ankle, hand, and ORIF surgeries.
• Handle a variety of procedures such as ENT, GYN, plastics, and general surgeries.
• Operate and manage equipment including the MAKO robotic system.
• Ensure proper badge-in/out and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and collaboration with surgical teams.
Required Qualifications
• 3-4 years of recent circulating experience in an OR setting.
• Strong orthopedic experience, including total joints and arthroscopy.
• Current SD or compact state RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA.
• Experience with robotic surgery (MAKO preferred).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with spine, foot/ankle, hand, ENT, GYN, and plastics procedures.
• Prior experience working with Sanford Health (must note if applicable with end date at least 6 months prior).
• Familiarity with various surgical equipment and managing multiple ORs.
