Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Beds: 28; average census 13-16

Minimum experience:

1.5 years (system requirement)
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only with 2+ years of experience
Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
Patient Types:
Neonates all gestational ages
Level 3 NICU
Diagnoses include, but not limited to:
Low Birth weight, High frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, total body cooling, feeders/growers
No ECMO, No cardiac surgery at this time
Patient Ratios:
RN: 1:1-1:4
Required

Certifications:

BLS, NRP, PALS; STABLE (preferred)
Required

Education:

Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing;
Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing

Skills required:

Will consider 36 or 48 hour contracts
Vent management, IV Starts, chest tubes, IV med titration, experience with Neonatal Resuscitation is preferred (CN will attend deliveries)
