The National Accounts Coordinator assists in managing relationships with key retail and food service partners across the country. This entry-level role in National Accounts combines customer engagement, sales team support, and data-driven analysis to enhance market performance. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the beverage industry, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the success of strategic customer relationships.
The individual will travel to various local markets to build relationships with retail partners, support field sales efforts, and analyze sales data to uncover actionable insights.
- Assist in the execution of national account programs, promotions, and product launches.
- Conduct in-person visits and outreach to retail accounts, and other partners on assigned National Accounts to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to address concerns and identify opportunities for growth.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams (sales, marketing, supply chain) and National Customers.
- Assist sales representatives with promotional execution and account follow-ups.
- Coordinate product sampling events, merchandising initiatives, and in-store activations.
- Support trade marketing initiatives and ensure timely delivery of promotional materials.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and support reporting needs.
- Prepare and analyze sales performance across products, regions, and channels to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop reports, dashboards, presentations and performance summaries to support account reviews, strategic planning, and sales forecasting.
- Monitor inventory levels and order fulfillment for national accounts and related programs.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to align insights with promotional strategies.
- Assist in the review and analysis of various Customer Trade Marketing agreements.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience in the beverage industry or CPG sales.
- Familiarity with syndicated data tools (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
- Comfortable with travel and face-to-face customer interactions.
- Exposure to trade marketing or retail execution.
- Adaptability – Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
- Business Acumen – Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues.
- Communication – Ability to effectively, clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing.
