Diesel Technician

Job Overview

Tran Source Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment, and serving as the Servicing Dealer for multiple product lines in the On Highway, Construction and Agriculture industries.

We are seeking Diesel Technicians to support our expanding service operations.

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, including but not limited to machinery, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Carrying out necessary repairs and conducting more complex repairs to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshooting and analyzing issues reported by drivers or operators, and providing effective solutions to address the problems.
• Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
• Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
• Complete service reports, order parts and maintain clear customer records.
• Field Technicians will be going out to service calls.

• Two‑year technical degree and/or equivalent job experience in any of the above fields.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems and components, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems.
• Previous experience working on Volvo equipment is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service.
• Computer, written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, an insurable driving record, and ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.

• Competitive pay based on prior experience and demonstrable knowledge. $25.00 – $50.00 per hour depending on role and experience.
