Raritan Valley Community College's Returning & Incarcerated Student Education department is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members who are committed to providing the best quality education possible to our students. Specifically, the college is seeking candidates interested in being adjunct faculty with expertise in:

• Languages
  - Spanish, French or American Sign Language

The RISE department kindly requests that candidates commit to teaching for at least 2 semesters in order to allow for students to fulfill the 2-course sequence necessary for graduation.
The RISE department is specifically seeking candidates who are willing to travel to South Woods State Prison in Bridgeton, NJ.

• Teach all courses assigned, submit course documents, including syllabi and final grades, as required.
• Provide feedback to students and record grades in a timely manner using the Learning Management System and its gradebook.
• Submit attendance verification and progress reports, as directed.
• Comply with all college policies and requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in discipline from an accredited institution.

Prior experience teaching in discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

2-years of college teaching experience.
