Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer – Vulnerability Management
Location: Raritan, NJ 08869 / Remote
Mode: Contract
Rate: $30/hr on W2 & $48/hr on C2C
Eligibility: USC/GC only
- Configure and maintain security policies, rules, and controls within Wiz to align with organizational security requirements.
- Monitor and triage security findings from Wiz, coordinating with relevant teams for remediation.
- Create and maintain documentation related to compliance controls and standards.
- Perform regular reviews of Wiz security findings and generate reports for stakeholders.
- Partner with cloud engineering teams to implement security best practices and resolve identified issues.
- Assist in incident response activities when Wiz identifies potential security issues.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
- Strong hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Deep understanding of cloud security concepts, compliance frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud security tools and cloud‑native security controls.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
- Direct experience with the Wiz platform.
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
- Experience with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST).
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD security integration.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
