Job Duties:

Lead the MSFT Azure cloud engineering team and drive strategy, account design, security policies, compliance as code, and operational optimization. Develop cloud automations, patterns, associated security and compliance guardrails, and automations to meet application hosting requirements. Drive the maturity of the Azure service, responsible for reference architectures, solution designs, roadmaps, work allocations, and the direct management of the Azure engineering and software development team.

Engage with server, database, and application teams as well as Azure external specialists and forums to remain current on industry trends. Use a combination of cloud-native services and custom-built software to deliver and support cloud capacities. Set software development standards for the team. Work collaboratively with strategic external partners, global leaders, and executives across the business and technology to understand technology needs, define and shape public cloud automation to align with technology needs, and improve the overall reliability and performance of services offered.

Lead and participate on cross-functional teams, gain alignment and drive decision making with CLOUDx and application teams.
Requirements:  Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sr. Cloud Engineer-related occupation.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation
-120 hours per calendar year

-56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays
-13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period
10 days
Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
This position is eligible for benefits to include medical, dental, vision and time off, as well as any others as provided for in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
