. Labcorp is seeking a certified Cytotechnologist to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused, and challenging environment. The position includes a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000 (External candidates only)

Pay Range: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour

Monday – Friday (flexible between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm) with rotating Saturdays.

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week receive Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN, and Part‑Time employees with less than 20 hours per week are eligible for the 401(k) plan only.

• Screen and evaluate gynecologic and non‑gynecologic specimens for potential malignant or abnormal conditions.
• Screen liquid‑based cytology, both manual and imaged, as well as conventional slides.
• Perform microscopic evaluation of cytological specimens following laboratory procedures and policies.
• Ensure proper documentation of workload recording, including screening and non‑screening activities as required by CLIA and laboratory guidelines.
• Maintain absolute integrity in the accurate performance and reporting of results.
• Meet slide screening requirements as per standard operating procedures.
• Finalize testing results into the computer promptly and accurately.
• Provide backup for cytology processing and other tasks as needed.
• Comply with all safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies.

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university.
• Successful completion of an accredited Cytology program.
• ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification required.
• Prior experience working in Cytology preferred.
• Thin Prep and Sure Path certifications are a plus.
• Must pass slide screening requirements and annual CAP proficiency test.
• Demonstrated understanding of Cyto preparation techniques.
• Automated and non‑automated testing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen.
