. Labcorp is seeking a certified Cytotechnologist to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused, and challenging environment. The position includes a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.
Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000 (External candidates only)
Pay Range: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour
Work ScheduleMonday – Friday (flexible between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm) with rotating Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities- Screen and evaluate gynecologic and non‑gynecologic specimens for potential malignant or abnormal conditions.
- Screen liquid‑based cytology, both manual and imaged, as well as conventional slides.
- Perform microscopic evaluation of cytological specimens following laboratory procedures and policies.
- Ensure proper documentation of workload recording, including screening and non‑screening activities as required by CLIA and laboratory guidelines.
- Maintain absolute integrity in the accurate performance and reporting of results.
- Meet slide screening requirements as per standard operating procedures.
- Finalize testing results into the computer promptly and accurately.
- Provide backup for cytology processing and other tasks as needed.
- Comply with all safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion of an accredited Cytology program.
- ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification required.
- Prior experience working in Cytology preferred.
- Thin Prep and Sure Path certifications are a plus.
- Must pass slide screening requirements and annual CAP proficiency test.
- Demonstrated understanding of Cyto preparation techniques.
- Automated and non‑automated testing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen.
