Position TitleManager, Global Market Access Strategy, Oncology
The Global Commercial Strategy Organization, a group within Janssen Global Services and a member of Johnson & Johnson's family of companies, is recruiting for a Manager, Global Market Access Strategy. This position will be based in Raritan, NJ.
The Global Strategic Market Access Manager, reporting to the Senior Compound Market Access Leader (Sr CMAL), Lung/ST3, will closely collaborate with the SCMAL/CMALs and support the team to develop and drive the market access strategy for the respective product/indication, aligned with the global clinical and commercial strategy. The Global Strategic Market Access Manager must understand the needs of markets and support development of appropriate solutions to ensure launch readiness and Market Access success.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Global Market Access teams (Health Economics, PRO, Access Policy, Pricing, RWE & Analytics) to deliver market access strategies for assigned assets.
- Support generation and integration of pricing, payer, health economics, and epidemiology insights to shape value strategies reflecting system, disease, and companion diagnostic needs.
- Develop and execute global market access tactical plans for assigned products.
- Design and oversee health outcomes research—including literature reviews, RWE studies, and cost‑effectiveness or budget‑impact models—to inform decisions and ensure launch readiness, in collaboration with Regional Market Access, RWE teams and Medical Affairs.
- Contribute to global access policy initiatives for assigned areas.
- Monitor scientific, pricing, and reimbursement developments to strengthen value propositions.
- Integrate patient perspectives into access strategies and payer interactions.
- Support education of commercial and R&D teams on market access trends and opportunities.
- Align strategies across regions and countries to enable timely reimbursement and access.
- Support external engagement to ensure clarity on evidentiary requirements with key decision makers.
- Support an engaged Extended Market Access Team (EMAT) through strong communication, best‑practice sharing, and co‑creation.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment across R&D, GCSO, Clinical Development, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Global Market Access COE for successful launch readiness.
- Oversee study contract and protocol development to ensure timely execution.
- Manage market access budgets to ensure aligned and efficient spending for projects.
- Master’s degree in appropriate field (Science, Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or Public Health) or a Pharm
