QA Functional Lead

Must Have - GxP, Regulatory, Regression testing, JIRA-Xray, Functional/manual testing, Saucelabs for multibrowser testing, Data Bricks, Spotfire, ISTQB/CSTE certifications

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the testing phase of projects, ensuring that software and systems meet quality standards and business requirements.

Manage testing strategies, coordinate team activities, and ensure seamless communication between development and testing teams.

Monitor and report on test progress, coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Develop and implement test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of all functional requirements.

Execute manual tests to identify issues or defects in the software.

Record and track test results, documenting discrepancies or bugs.

Collaborate with development teams to analyze test outcomes and ensure issues are resolved.

Ensure software meets GxP standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regression tests to verify that recent changes haven't adversely affected existing functionalities.

Provide detailed reports on test findings to management and stakeholders.

Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to enhance testing processes.

Experience with JIRA-Xray, Saucelabs for multibrowser testing, Data Bricks, Spotfire.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Proven experience as a software tester in a GxP-regulated environment.

Strong process knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certifications:

ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent preferred.

Problem solving:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Communication:
Strong verbal and written skills for reporting findings.

Team collaboration:
Ability to work with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
