• Own the end-to-end architecture of modern Safety/Pharmacovigilance Data Platforms, ingesting data from various clinical and non-clinical systems and transforming it into insights for internal and external users using scalable big data pipelines on GCP.
• Must have Pharmacovigilance experience, including understanding of the ArisG ecosystem for data dependency purposes.
• Design and develop flexible, scalable, and resilient data processing pipelines using industry-leading tools and technologies, including serverless architectures, containers, and Data Fabric.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
• Write clear, detailed, and concise documentation—architecture diagrams, reference architecture, data flows, data models, and implementation plans.
• Enhance our API infrastructure connecting web portals to the back-end processing engine.
• Leverage latest innovations in data science to improve our footprint.
• Collaborate with Security and Risk Management teams to improve security posture and develop disaster recovery plans.
• Proficient in scripting with Iron Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and basic Python and R scripting.
• Thorough understanding of GCP services for data, analytics, and AI such as Big Query, Apache Kafka, Vertex AI, AutoML, Gemini, etc.
