Core Backend Development

Clean Core Backend Development on S/4

• Integrates S/4
  
  HANA with external systems via APIs and events.
• Builds in-app extensions using RAP and BAdIs.
• Exposure to EML.
• Exposure to CFL for BO Extensions: CFL + Extensibility.
• Exposure to AIF, Adobe forms, BRF+.
• Works on custom reports, enhancements, and CDS views, Analytical CDS Views, AMDP, OData.
• Ensures compliance with SAP’s clean core guidelines.

• Total Experience of 15-25 years.
• Experience in BTP Solution Architect.
• 2-3 Development projects experience on S/4
  
  HANA Transformation Programs.

• Designing, developing, and deploying applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Having expertise in SAP BTP services and cloud application development.
• Automating build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrating SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Ensuring efficient and automated delivery of solutions.

• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, CAP, SAP HANA Cloud).
• Proficiency in programming languages:
  Java, Node.js, JavaScript, or Python or ABAP on SAP BTP.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integrate with backend systems via OData and REST APIs.
• Connecting CAPM apps with SAP S/4
  
  HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, and third-party systems via destinations and APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or SAP CI/CD).
• Familiarity containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud‑native development.

• Experience in automating builds, deployments, and testing processes.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and tools for SAP environments.
• Apply best practices for authentication, authorization, and secure coding on SAP BTP.
• Manage roles and authorizations using SAP Identity Authentication and Identity Provisioning services.

• Strong understanding of REST/OData APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Git‑based workflows and version control.
• Monitor application performance using SAP BTP monitoring tools and optimize scalability.
• Good problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Experience in Life Sciences or Manufacturing industry with strong business process knowhow.

• SAP BTP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP BTP).
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite and Event Mesh.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
