Role Overview :We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Cloud Architect / Lead to design, build, and scale enterprise‑grade cloud platforms and solutions.
The role requires deep technical expertise in AWS services, infrastructure design, Dev Ops practices, and solution leadership across complex, distributed systems.
The candidate will be responsible for driving cloud adoption, modernization initiatives, and ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement end‑to‑end cloud architectures leveraging AWS services (compute, storage, networking, and serverless).
- Lead cloud migration and modernization projects — from assessment to deployment.
- Define architecture blueprints, landing zones, and reference models for application onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with security, IAM, and governance standards across AWS accounts and workloads.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency using best practices.
- Work closely with developers, Dev Ops, and product teams to design microservices and event‑driven architectures.
- Establish and enforce CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards (Terraform / Cloud Formation).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Define and monitor SLAs, resiliency strategies, and observability frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align architecture decisions with strategic goals.
Core AWS Services: EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Cloud Front, RDS, Dynamo
DB, SNS/SQS, Step Functions, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, IAM, KMS, Open search, Kafka and Secrets Manager.
- Microservices and serverless architectures
- Event‑driven and asynchronous systems
- High‑availability and disaster recovery (multi‑AZ / multi‑region)
- Networking (VPC design, Transit Gateway, Route 53, VPN, Direct Connect)
- IaC using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or CDK
- CI/CD using Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS Code Pipeline
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, Fargate)
Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Open Search
Security & Governance:- IAM design, policies, and role‑based access control
- AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Security Hub
- Compliance (ISO, SOC2, GDPR) awareness
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (preferred)
- AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer or Security Specialty (advantageous)
- Proven experience in leading cloud architecture initiatives in mid/large enterprises
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Team leadership and mentoring ability
- Ability to balance technical depth with business pragmatism
- Experience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, or enterprise data platforms
- Exposure to multi‑cloud environments (Azure/GCP)
- Experience with Open Search / Elastic, Kafka / Rabbit
