Responsibilities
- Overall solution requirements & architecture discussion; understand organization's obstacles with business and technical partners to ensure solutions and provide due diligence.
- Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Develop Google Cloud Platform Architecture for business needs; leverage services such as Cloud Big Query, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Big Table.
- Handle Google Cloud Storage and Cloud SQL for user/client data.
- Serve as GCP Architect and SME on multiple projects; represent in client meetings.
- Respond to RFPs providing solution architecture.
- Lead technical solution and coordination; point of contact for technical design and deliverables.
- Minimum 1 year experience architecting applications for Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with GCP services:
Cloud Big Query, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Big Table, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Datastore. - 10+ years experience in technical solutions implementation, architecture design, evaluation, and investigation in cloud computing environment, preferably Google.
- Experience in private and public cloud architectures, migration strategies, and data strategy.
- Experience integrating and migrating on-premises systems to Google Cloud.
- Strong database skills: RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, Postgre
SQL), database design, troubleshooting, root cause analysis. - Experience predicting and overseeing infrastructure/software upgrades; infrastructure discovery, design, build, and migration.
- Understanding of data archival, management, governance concepts.
- Experience with containerization solutions (Kubernetes, Docker) and microservices on GCP.
- Preferred:
Development background in Python, Java, shell scripting, or PL/SQL. - Experience Terraform;
Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect preferred; hands‑on GCP Console experience key.
