Location:

Raritan, NJ (Onsite). Type: long-term contract – W2 Only.

Position Summary

Experience in supporting overall manufacturing/lab IT systems and devices, including printers, scanners, tablets, PCs, and specialized test equipment. Skills in troubleshooting AV devices, network devices, and mobility support. Strong focus on quality, safety, and GMP/GxP compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving for AV devices (projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, cameras, displays) and IT devices reported by end users.
  • Root cause analysis of incidents for IT devices and mobility support/management.
  • Work with multiple teams (Network, Server) and OEMs on high priority issues.
  • Manage Power Shut Down maintenance activities for network devices and servers in Data Center.
  • Handle IT asset lifecycle management: collection, secure storage, labeling, imaging, allocation, recovery, hygiene validation, disposal, and system updates.
  • Support basic L1 network device troubleshooting (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs).
  • Provide hands‑on support for technology teams on demand, including rack‑and‑stack commissioning and decommissioning of infra devices.
  • Provide physical access for vendors to IDF/MDF/MMR and Data Center/Server rooms.
  • Coordinate printer management, usage monitoring, and vendor support for print services continuity.
  • Assist with cable patching coordination or enable on demand.
  • Ensure basic network connectivity (LAN), Wi‑Fi, Video Tandberg, Printer/Voice availability at site.
  • Install and configure hardware and software components for end‑user usability.
  • Ensure best practices like 5S (LEAN), proper entry procedures, safety protocols, and change control windows are followed.
  • Manage P1/P2 event critical support (spares, crash carts).
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing or lab IT support.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, lab or distribution center IT equipment; scanners, printers (e.g., Zebra), rugged tablets, PCs, specialized test equipment.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with teams and vendors.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills for server support.
  • Understanding of GMP/GxP environments.
  • Experience working in Clean Room or Manufacturing environments.
  • Attention to detail and strong focus on quality.
  • Safety training and knowledge of PPE and lab requirements.
  • Knowledge of maintaining devices within approved change control windows.

  • Safety training and proper PPE/lab requirements always apply.
  • Understand that PCs/Servers cannot have maintenance or patching without approved change control windows.
  • No systems or devices should be rebooted without proper approvals.
  • MLL sites may have isolated networks.
