This role involves preparing monthly financials for RAK Porcelain UAE division, Preparing and review of payable ageing, monthly VAT return preparation, monthly closing provisions, forex reporting and Capex evaluations. The position ensures smooth accounting operations and compliance with internal controls
What You Will Be Doing- Preparation of monthly financials reports for UAE division including the P&L, Balance sheet and cash flow.
- Overview vendor master data, and prepare fortnightly vendor ageing reports.
- Review vendor account reconciliations, helping Associate Director in forex hedging and dealing with banks.
- Knowledge of IFRS including but not limited to IFRS 9 and 16 and continuous review and ensure accounting practices are in line with accounting standards.
- Prior experience of handling ICFR audit
- Prepare working capital summary and help Associate Director for cash flow management.
- Overview of accounts receivables function and ensure no major overdue from customers.
- Monthly Bank reconciliations review
- Review of GL accounts and prepare backup working for audit and internal purpose. Continuous review of balance sheet items and keep the trial balance clean.
- Prepare monthly VAT return working for RAK Porcelain business, should have prior experience preparing VAT returns.
- Preparation of backup data required for UAE corporate tax return.
- Overview of intercompany account reconciliations and updating the Intercompany reconciliation SOP.
- Vendor code creation in SAP and keeping all updates regularly
- Review and posting of general entries posted by junior staff.
- Working on new automation and statutory requirement projects
- Inventory ageing and review of SLOB provision requirements in line with IFRS
- Other reporting and analysis work as given by Manager

- CA Inter (semi qualified)
- Minimum 6–8 years’ experience managing Accounts payable or accounting.
- Understanding of IFRS, Accounts payables, payroll, VAT, UAE corporate tax, revenue recognition and dealing with bank.
- Prior experience working with auditors, vendors and banks.
- Experience in SAP or any other ERP software
