Accountant (Temporary Contract

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and revenue accounting
, while providing accurate financial information to support business decisions.

• Prepare periodic financial reports, including revenue and cost analysis, and provide explanations for key variances.
• Analyze financial performance and provide financial insights to support business planning and decision-making.
• Monitor departmental spending against approved budgets and highlight significant variances or delays.
• Support management with financial analysis and advice on the financial implications of business decisions.
• Maintain and improve financial processes, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with applicable financial policies and controls.

• Process and reconcile payments received through various channels and ensure accurate and timely recording in the ERP system.
• Process customer refunds following the required approval procedures.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain utility information and ensure utility expenses are accurately recorded and processed for payment.
• Liaise with banks regarding company cheques, banking documentation, and related transactions.
• Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain accurate billing and invoicing records and ensure revenue transactions are properly recorded.
• Perform customer account reconciliations and investigate and resolve billing, revenue, and accounting discrepancies.
• Post revenues accurately and prepare regular billing and revenue reports.
• Support month-end and period-end closing activities related to revenue and receivables.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors on Accounts Receivable and revenue-related matters.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding billing and revenue processes.

• Support the preparation of the annual operating budget and CAPEX budget.
• Collect and consolidate budget requirements from relevant business units.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of actual expenses against budget.
• Prepare monthly revenue and expenditure reports and highlight actual vs. budget variances.
• Support budget reforecasting exercises and ensure reporting is completed within required timelines.
• Prepare and maintain financial ledgers, departmental budgets, and expense reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP FICO
  .
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  .
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
  .
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and VAT
  .
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with different departments and levels of management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
