We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in RAK. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data. You will also be responsible for preparing and filing taxes.
Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. The Accountant will also be responsible for preparing and filing taxes in a timely manner. They should have an excellent understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as the ability to use various software programs such as Microsoft Office, Quick Books and others to perform their job functions.
Requirements for the Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting or related discipline
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Proficiency in use of computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Quickbooks
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical skills with a good eye for detail
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Willingness to consider an immigrant is a plus
