Accountant in Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial and accounting records, preparing regular financial reports, and managing the day-to-day activities associated with the accounting department.
They should have excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, as well as a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include:- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Generate financial reports and provide analysis on trends
- Monitor accounts receivable/payable status
- Reconcile bank statements with general ledger entries
- Assist in the preparation of budget proposals
- Assist in other general accounting tasks as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience working in a similar role
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency with computerized accounting systems (Quick Books/Xero preferred)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
The successful applicant will be offered a salary of AED 1300 per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this position.
