Manager, Contracts

We’re looking for a Manager, Contracts to join RAKTDA’s Procurement & Contracts team and play a key role in strengthening contract management, governance and commercial outcomes across the Authority.

• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of complex, high-value and non-standard commercial contracts.
• Manage contracts across the full lifecycle, from finalization and execution through amendments, renewals, performance management and closeout.
• Provide clear, practical contractual and commercial advice to management and business stakeholders.
• Oversee contractual obligations, risks, claims, disputes, supplier performance and key milestones.
• Partner with Procurement, Legal, Finance, business teams and suppliers to resolve contractual matters and support effective decision-making.
• Drive improvements in contract governance, reporting, controls, systems and ways of working.
• Lead and develop the Contracts team, ensuring quality and consistency across contract-management activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in contract management, commercial management, procurement or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience independently drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
  .
• Sound knowledge of commercial clauses, contractual risk and contract lifecycle management.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, stakeholder‑management and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with contract management systems/ERP and contract registers.
• WorldCC, CIPS, NCMA or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
