As an MEP Coordinator within ALEC Building, you’ll be central to the successful coordination and delivery of MEP works on site. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and authorities — ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services across every stage of construction.

Our MEP team works hand-in-hand with project delivery, design, commercial, planning, and authority liaison teams to ensure MEP works are coordinated, compliant, and aligned with programme and budget requirements. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and collaboration, the team plays a vital role in achieving successful project outcomes.

As an MEP Coordinator
, you will be responsible for coordinating MEP works on site, ensuring safety, quality, programme, and commercial objectives are met.

• Coordinate MEP design information with the Design Department and Consultants.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies and interface issues across disciplines.
• Ensure up-to-date MEP design documentation is available for site teams.

• Support the Project Team with MEP-related information affecting progress and sequencing.
• Assist with planning, monitoring, and coordination of MEP activities.
• Coordinate temporary MEP services and interface with other site works.

• Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors to ensure works align with programme requirements.
• Review subcontractor submissions, installation documents, and method statements.
• Ensure timely closure of NCRs and compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Ensure satisfactory installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP services.
• Facilitate QA documentation, inspections, and WIR processes.
• Verify completion and submission of MEP as-built documentation.

• Support cost control activities with the Commercial team.
• Liaise with authorities and coordinate third-party approvals and inspections.
• Ensure contractual obligations related to MEP works are met and recorded.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction with exposure to MEP works
• Degree or diploma qualification preferred
• Specialist knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing systems
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within fast-paced project environments
• Experience with documentation control, reporting, and site coordination
