Site Engineer- MEP

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Site Engineer with experience in civil works, MEP fit‑finish.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing on‑site construction activities to ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines and UAE construction standards.

Experience in Villa Renovation Extension projects will be a strong advantage.

• Supervise day‑to‑day MEP site activities in line with approved drawings, specifications and project standards.
• Monitor MEP progress against schedules and proactively identify risks, delays and coordination issues.
• Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and sequencing of works.
• Interface with civil, architectural and fit‑out teams and liaise with consultants for inspections, approvals and technical clarifications.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures on site and conduct regular inspections to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure all works comply with approved method statements and material submittals.
• Review construction drawings and resolve site‑level technical issues.
• Coordinate with in‑house teams, contractors, IDs, consultants and various agencies to prepare and submit RFIs, shop drawings and as‑built documentation.
• Support value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or compliance.
• Enforce MEP‑specific HSE requirements and identify potential hazards to ensure preventive measures are implemented on site.
• Maintain daily site logs, progress reports and inspection records and support project close‑out documentation and handover processes.

• At least 5‑8 years of relevant UAE experience as a Site Engineer in civil works, MEP and project delivery.
• Hands‑on experience in construction contract administration in compliance with Dubai statutory codes, DSC standards and Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations.
• Proven track record in supervising MEP installation works across active construction sites.
• Solid technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, local authority regulations and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic construction software/tools.
