Site Surveying and Setting Out

• Conduct topographic boundary and level surveys for building construction sites.
• Perform accurate setting out for structural, architectural, and infrastructure works (e.g., foundations, columns, blockwork, slabs, utilities).
• Ensure correct alignment and elevation as per approved drawings and consultant instructions.
• Verify survey data before construction activities begin.

• Prepare and maintain daily surveying records, site sketches, as-built drawings, and coordinate logs.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Prepare as-built surveys for completed works for consultant approval.
• Ensure surveying instruments are calibrated and maintained regularly.

• Study and interpret structural and architectural drawings, shop drawings, and IFC Issued for Construction documents.
• Report discrepancies to the engineer and assist in resolving layout or level conflicts.
• Provide technical support to the construction team related to site layout and measurements.

• Ensure all surveying works comply with UAE municipality regulations, consultant specifications, and project QA/QC requirements.
• Follow company safety policies and ensure safe operation of equipment on-site.

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in building construction projects (UAE experience preferred).
• Knowledge of UAE surveying standards and construction practices.
