Role DescriptionThe Structural Execution & Estimation Supervisor is a part‑time hybrid role based in Ras Al Khaimah, with some flexibility for work‑from‑home tasks such as documentation, estimation, and reporting. On a day‑to‑day basis, the supervisor oversees structural works execution, monitors progress against project plans, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. The role includes preparing and reviewing quantity take‑offs, cost estimations, and bills of quantities, as well as coordinating with site teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical or logistical issues.
The supervisor contributes to training activities by sharing practical insights, reviewing learner work, and supporting the development of best practices in structural construction and estimation. Regular duties also involve maintaining accurate records, updating project documentation, and providing status reports to management.
- Strong background in structural engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, with hands‑on experience in supervising structural works.
- Proficiency in construction estimation, including quantity surveying, cost analysis, and preparation of bills of quantities using relevant tools or software.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents, and translate them into actionable site instructions.
- Solid understanding of construction safety standards, quality control procedures, and compliance with local regulations and codes.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with site teams, contractors, suppliers, and training participants.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple tasks on a part‑time, hybrid schedule.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., MS Office, project documentation platforms) and remote collaboration for reporting and planning work.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil/structural engineering, construction management, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a supervisory, site engineer, or estimation‑focused role in the construction sector within the UAE or GCC region is highly beneficial.
