We are looking for The Site Inspector who is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and coordinating the execution of interior design works during construction and fit-out phases. The role ensures that all works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, design intent, project schedules, and KZC quality standards.

Acting as KZC's on-site representative, the position combines technical inspection, quality assurance, contractor coordination, and project reporting to ensure the successful delivery of luxury hospitality, residential, and mixed-use developments.

• Represent KZC's Interior Design team on site and safeguard the approved design intent throughout construction and fit-out.
• Conduct regular on-site and, where required, off-site inspections to verify compliance with approved construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications, material submittals, approved samples, mock-ups, brand standards, and applicable authority requirements.
• Inspect completed and ongoing interior design works to ensure quality of workmanship, correct installation methods, and compliance with approved documentation.
• Identify defects, non-conformances, and deviations from approved drawings, specifications, material samples, and design intent.
• Monitor and inspect joinery and millwork, stone and marble works, tile finishes, decorative metalwork, wall finishes and cladding, ceiling systems, flooring, glass and glazing, decorative lighting integration, and FF&E installations.
• Review mock-ups, sample rooms, first-fix installations, and material samples prior to full implementation.
• Prepare snagging and de-snagging reports and monitor corrective actions through to closure.
• Support testing, commissioning, final inspections, and project handover activities, ensuring completed works meet KZC quality standards.

• Monitor site execution and installation activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Inspect material deliveries, including joinery, marble, finishes, and FF&E, to verify compliance with approved samples, specifications, quality requirements, and protection standards.
• Verify the quality, alignment, positioning, finish, functionality, and installation of interior elements.
• Monitor workmanship standards and identify potential quality issues before completion of works.
• Coordinate with contractors and relevant consultants to address technical and quality issues promptly.
• Provide practical site-based input to support the resolution of construction and interior design-related issues.
• Escalate unresolved or critical quality concerns to the appropriate KZC project lead.

• Coordinate daily with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, operators, suppliers, and client representatives.
• Coordinate inspections with Architecture, Structure, MEP, Lighting, AV, Kitchen, and Specialist Consultants when required.
• Monitor construction progress against approved programmes and report delays, risks, and site constraints.
• Attend progress meetings, site coordination workshops, and client inspections.
• Follow up on RFIs, site instructions, material approvals, and technical clarifications.
• Assist in resolving site-related design and construction issues.
• Monitor procurement and delivery status of key interior materials and FF&E items.
• Support senior designers and project leads with weekly project progress reports.

• Review contractor submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, samples, mock-ups, method statements, and RFIs.
• Verify that contractor shop drawings accurately reflect approved design documentation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate Site Observation Reports (SORs), Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs), snagging and de-snagging reports, and progress updates when required.
• Maintain project records, including site inspection reports, meeting minutes, progress reports, RFI trackers, and NCR logs.
• Monitor corrective actions and follow up with contractors until closure.
