Adjunct Faculty Position in Computer Science and Engineering
The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Department of Computer Science and Engineering, is seeking to hire an adjunct faculty member for the Spring 2026 semester.
The adjunct will be responsible for teaching two core courses:
Operating Systems and Data Structures
.
- A Ph.D. holder in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated ability or potential for excellence in teaching and student engagement.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Commitment to working effectively with a diverse student population.
- Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements is desirable.
Located at the mouth of the Gulf, Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) was once the historical capital of the region. RAK boasts many outdoor attractions, with plenty of places for leisure, water sports, hiking and mountain climbing, and other athletic pursuits, all within a safe and family-oriented environment. Away from frenzied traffic and rush of the larger cities, but still well-developed, RAK is a quiet but vibrant Emirate.
