Adjunct Position in Computer Science

American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Department of Computer Science and Engineering, invites applications for an adjunct faculty position beginning Fall 2026 (August).

The successful candidate is expected to hold a Ph.D in Computer Science or a related computing major and teach undergraduate courses.

• Teach undergraduate courses:
  Databases Systems and Cybersecurity.

• Ph. D in Computer Science or a related computing major from an accredited institution of higher education
• Strong record of active engagement in research and scholarship, including recent publications
• University teaching experience
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to excellence in teaching, including the use of high-impact educational practices
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines
• Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements
