Requirement details of Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering – Robotics and Embedded Systems
American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2026. Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering – Robotics and Embedded Systems, and preferably possess additional expertise in Machine Learning, AI, and IoT.
Required Qualifications- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related major from an accredited, internationally recognized institution of higher education.
- Areas of expertise include Robotics, Embedded Systems, Machine Learning, AI, and IoT.
- Strong record of active engagement in research and scholarship, including recent high-quality publications.
- University teaching experience.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching, including the use of high-impact educational practices.
- Commitment to excellence in research in the areas specified above.
- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines.
- Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements.
