Responsibilities
- Oversee daily quarry operations, ensuring efficient extraction and production targets are met safely and on schedule.
- Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Manage and supervise a diverse team of quarry workers, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quarrying or open‑pit mining operations.
- Hold relevant certifications such as a Blasting Certificate or First Aid/CPR.
- Demonstrated expertise in operating and maintaining heavy mining equipment.
