Senior Electrical Technician – Power Generation

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Technician to perform and support operation and maintenance activities for electrical systems within a power generation environment, ensuring safe and reliable plant operations.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment in power generation facilities.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and repair generators, transformers, switch gear, circuit breakers, control panels and auxiliary systems
  .
• Diagnose electrical faults and minimize equipment downtime.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Participate in planned/unplanned shutdown and maintenance activities
  .
• Perform safe electrical isolation, de-energization/re-energization and LOTO activities.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports and equipment documentation.
• Guide junior technicians and ensure work is performed according to technical and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, HSE and applicable IEC/IEEE standards.

• Diploma/Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or related field.
• Relevant experience in electrical O&M within power generation/power plants or similar heavy industrial facilities
  .
• Strong experience with generators, transformers, switch gear, circuit breakers and control panels
  .
• Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, testing and maintenance.
• Knowledge of LOTO, electrical isolation and electrical safety procedures
  .
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with shutdown/plant maintenance activities preferred.
