Job Purpose & ResponsibilitiesThe Facilities Engineer is responsible for the overall efficient operation of all campus facilities on a daily basis, which mainly includes all buildings on campus and residential halls. The scope focuses on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire, and carpentry works.
Minimum Qualification and Education- Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electro‑Mechanical Engineering / Electrical or Mechanical with experience in complete MEP works & leading maintenance teams. - Desirable: PMP certificate.
- Knowledge of Facilities Management.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and others).
- Operations Management & Cost Control.
- Strong Organization and Planning Skills.
- Self‑Motivated and can work in a team.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and CAFM (Computer‑Aided Facilities Management) is a plus.
- Knowledge of UAE building codes, fire safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- At least 4 years of experience in maintenance.
- Experience in budget estimation & budget handling.
- Experience in supervising a diverse technicians’ team.
- Essential:
Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written are mandatory. - Desirable:
