About Your Team

You will work closely with the Engineering, Procurement, Planning and Construction teams to ensure that all documentation is properly controlled, accessible, and aligned with both project standards and internal procedures. You’ll support internal audits, maintain filing systems, and help ensure the seamless flow of information that drives successful project execution.

Your Role

As a Data Management Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain up‑to‑date engineering document trackers, logs, and registers (e.g., drawing submittals, material submittals, method statements).
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Construction teams to collect, verify, and upload accurate technical data.
  • Manage version control and document status tracking for all drawings and engineering documents.
  • Ensure proper archiving of engineering files, both electronic and hard copies, as per project and company standards.
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports on engineering submittal status, approvals, and outstanding items.
  • Support the Engineering Manager by providing data inputs for technical meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions.
  • Liaise with Document Control and QA/QC to ensure engineering data complies with ISO, project, and client requirements.
  • Flag delays, missing data, or discrepancies in logs and escape for resolution.
  • Assist in the digital transformation of engineering data workflows, supporting tools like Aconex, Procore, or other DMS platforms used on the projects.
What We’re Looking For

Experience:

2–3 years of experience in data/document management, ideally in an MEP or construction engineering environment.

Knowledge &

Skills:
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with engineering documents, MEP drawings, and submittal procedures.
  • Proficient in Excel and document management systems (Aconex, SharePoint, or similar).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced project environment.
  • Clear understanding of engineering workflows and submittal cycles.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality of project data.
Desirable:
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and basic quality systems.
  • Familiarity with project QA/QC requirements, forms, and workflows.
  • Familiarity with construction environment.
  • Awareness of HSE practices in a construction environment.
