Job Description Main ScopeResponsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of all electrical, mechanical, and ELV systems within the hotel. Ensures optimal performance of life safety systems, BMS/GRMS, and full compliance with hotel standards and authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities Engineering Operations- Supervise daily engineering shift operations
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs
- Maintain logs, reports, inventories, and technical documentation
- Inspect completed works for safety and compliance
- Estimate materials, manpower, and project requirements
- Ensure adherence to emergency procedures and safety protocols
- Oversee Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, CBS, UPS, BMS, and GRMS systems
- Conduct regular inspections, fire pump testing, and system checks
Monitor systems and take immediate corrective action when needed - Maintain accurate ELV documentation and compliance records
- Coordinate with approved contractors/service providers
- Support fire drills and emergency preparedness activities
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, hotel policies, and safety regulations
- Participate in risk management and sustainability initiatives
- Supervise and guide engineering team members
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel
- Strong hands‑on experience with ELV and life safety systems
- Knowledge of BMS, GRMS, Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting systems
- Good leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office and engineering systems
