Responsibilities
Prepare the Baseline Program and obtain approval from the client consultant and planning manager. Understand the work scope, quantities, and logical sequences for Engineering and Construction disciplines.
Develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for progress measurement, scheduling, cost estimation, and project control in collaboration with management and the project team.
Load all costs and timelines into Primavera and provide periodic updates on work progress, deviations, and delays to Site Management Staff.
Develop and update resource manpower and equipment histograms weekly, evaluate resource allocation, and recommend actions to sustain progress.
Create plan‑versus‑actual progress charts, histograms, S‑curves, and analyze deviations from the plan.
Conduct Extension of Time (EOT) analysis, prepare claims, and perform time‑impact analysis.
Maintain and update the look‑ahead schedule highlighting priority and critical activities.
Share an updated, real‑time client‑approved project schedule and timelines with Site Management whenever changes or deviations occur.
Hold periodic project review meetings and communicate current work progress linked to the cost to complete and variance between budgeted and actual costs.
Track, monitor, and forecast progress of all activities and deliverables—including bought‑outs, engineering documents, fabrication, and construction status across all disciplines.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
8–15 years of planning experience in building construction projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
Strong hands‑on experience with Primavera P6 and knowledge of MS Project and advanced Excel.
Experience with project controls tools and high‑rise residential, commercial, hotel, hospital, and mixed‑use projects.
