Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze civil infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate project feasibility and compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and urban planners, to integrate civil engineering solutions into larger projects.
• Utilize advanced software tools for modeling, simulation, and project management to optimize design efficiency.
• Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to stakeholders, clearly articulating design concepts and project benefits.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
• Stay current on industry trends, materials, and technologies to innovate and improve civil engineering practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid driving license and ownership of a car, with ability to travel between Emirates.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering projects, demonstrating progressive responsibility and technical expertise.
• Experience in contracting, roadworks, and infrastructure projects; preferred experience in transportation, water resources, or structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license highly desirable.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and SAP
  2000.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, enabling identification and resolution of complex engineering challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams, showcasing leadership qualities and a commitment to achieving common goals.
